Notes:

My boyfriend is a big fan of Ayanami Rei so I decided to do a costume for him. I bought a wig and had red contacts from my Hinoto costume but never started on Ayanami.

For a little fotoshooting I planned for the Prisoner costume of Kuchiki Rukia I found my old kimono I sewed back in 2002 because I found this beautiful blue asia fabric. Now I wanted to take pictures of this kimono as well.
I saw a picture of Rei in her kimono with the fullmoon in the back and it looked a bit like my blue kimono. With wig and contacts already at home I decided to use my Kimono as Ayanami costume.

I forgot my red contacts for the shooting so I don't wear them on the pictures. I don't know if I'll wear the costume on a convention but I really like how I look on the pictures ^_^ I won't write a "How I did it" because the kimono was a simple work with a Butterick pattern and using the sewing instructions.
