Nyozeka (Alice 19th)
Notes:
LOVE! I love this cute little rabbit girl, I love this ears, I love the
whole costume *_* It's my personal favourite ^^ It's not so well made
like I thought (I realized while wearing it again after a long time) but
I like the result.
The costume of Nyozeka was actually a spontaneous idea. I was looking for a costume I could wear for the Bookfair in Leipzig, but I didn't want to take an old one out of my cosplay wardrobe. After some back and forth I decided to do Nyozeka from Alice 19th because I always wanted to do this costume so why not for the Bookfair? It is definitely too cute *_* Nyozeka was a 3 month work, the most time I could sew only on weekends :(
I liked how the costume turned out the first time but I was dissatisfied
with some details like the ears and some other things. When I experienced,
that on bookfair in Frankfurt 2003 Yuu Watase would be present as an honour
guest there to present her new series "Alice 19th" to the german
audience (because of a magazine named Manga Twister where this series
is now published here ^^) I decided to wear my loved costume again. I
improved some little things and started to hope, that Yuu could perhaps
sign my costume ^^ You don't get the opportunity to show you costume to
the inventor of the character you are cosplaying very often. And Yuu Watase
is definitly my favourite mangaka!
Guess what? I got my autograph: Yuu signed my costume and I was allowed
to take some pictures with her too. It was so amazing! I was definitly
the happiest person of the world this day *_*
