Notes:

Ruby Moon was definitly not a simple costume but I love her and the costume came out okay (I hope). We decided to do a Card Captor Sakura group for cosplay contest at AnimagiC, but we weren't able to make it in time for AnimagiC 2004 so we changed our plans. We entered the cosplay contest at AnimagiC 2005 with an even bigger group than originally planned with Tiamat as the main character Sakura, her brother as Shaoloan, Blacky as Yue, me as Ruby Moon, my boyfriend as Clow Read and WhiteUnicorn as Meiling. I had the idea to do a short fashion show for the contest with the Card Captor Sakura Opening as background music. It was a good solution because of the short time for all of us on stage. Our group was the biggest group entering the contest on AnimagiC 05 I guess becaue 6 people was the limit for a group. Although we all were a little bit stressed before the con with finishing all the costumes in time it was fun to do this group project together with all my friends ^-^

I love Rubys character and decided to cosplay her long time before the group idea was born ^-^ The only thing I really don't like is her pink hair. Because of that I didn't want to do the Anime version of her dress... too much of pink =) I prefered the red manga color version, it really looks much better than in the anime. It was hard to find the right fabrics because I wanted this costume to be perfect. In the end I don't think it's perfect at all... exspecially the wings >.< I will re-do some things of the costume for new pictures when there is enough time ^-^
